Deploying Rally Reader with Jamf School

Have more control over how your students use Rally Reader on managed devices. Rally Reader can be deployed to student iPads using a mobile device manager (MDM) such as Jamf School.

App Store App Distribution

You can manually add Rally to Jamf School from the App Store. First, you will need to sign in with your Apple ID before the app can be distributed. If you want to eliminate this step, you can download Rally using Apple School Manager and assign the licenses to your users' devices instead. For more information, see Apps Purchased in Volume. Apps can be assigned to a device serial number on devices with iOS 9 or later.

  • In Jamf School, click Apps > Inventory in the sidebar.
  • Click + Add App.
  • Choose Add iOS App from the pop-up menu.
  • Upload the Rally app to Jamf School in the pop-up dialog.

The Rally app is now added to the Jamf School Apps table.
